Exciting Things Afoot

It’s been awhile since I’ve wrote anything, I need to get better at this.
Much has happened since the close of our first kickstarter. We hope you’ve had a chance to role up some characters and play a little.
We have been very busy as of late, what started as a fun time at one of our must attend conventions turned into a great opportunity for us. DaveCon is one of the conventions we would only miss if we were dead, and then if it were possible, we would still go just to mess with Vic. Vic Dorso is the man behind DaveCon and a good friend.
To make a long story short, due to our attendance at DaveCon this year, and with the help of Mr. Dorso, we have made a licensing agreement with Mr. Clyde Caldwell for some of his artwork to grace the Covers of Mystic Days. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Clyde, his art worked has peaked the imagination of gamers from the early days of D&D beside Jeff Easley and Larry Elmore. Also while at the convention we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. William Hart, a great artist, and we now have an agreement with him for some great interior art, something we were shooting for on the first kickstarter but just couldn’t get there. Then, through the prompting of Vic, and through a mutual friend we met at the convention last year, we were introduced to a content creator out of Florida, Mr. Ron Christopher. Now, through an agreement with Ron, we are able to almost double our monsters and add quite a few new magic items and spells.
Due to this our books are going to change. With the increase in content, the Mystic Days rule set will now be 4 books instead of three. We have launched another kickstarter, which is running until the end of September, and have funded so we are able to offer much more including a limited boxed set run. We also have Iron Wind Metals, the parent company of Ral Partha, providing miniatures for the kickstarter and we are working with one of their sculptors to design some original Mystic Days characters and creatures.
With all the new content and artwork that is going into the new books, it will take some time to get them completed. For those that supported us on the first kickstarter, there will be some new content in the ruleset. Nothing that changes any of the core mechanics, there are a few things we see we can tweak just a little to make the game flow better. But don’t worry, you will all get the new PDFs as soon as we have them done, so you won’t miss out on any changes or new content.
Andy will be launching his campaign setting soon also. I will try to be keep this page more current
Thanks, Dave
